We spent one of our last weekends as a family of only three at home this past weekend. Our house is in the midst of some renovations including a new patio and basement remodel. Henry has thoroughly enjoyed all of the construction equipment, dirt and rocks around our house. After every session of playing in the backyard these days, it is necessary that he undergo a complete change of outfit following a bath.
The due date for baby boy #2 McRitchie is quickly approaching, and falls on dad's birthday this upcoming Friday (9/21). It seems as though the newest member of our family is going to make us wait just like Henry did. But we are hoping that he doesn't also make us wait the 8 days past the due date to meet him.
