Myra and Jon's Wedding in Jamaica

Mom and Dad had a great winter vacation away to Jamaica with Uncle Dan and Aunt Kathryn to celebrate Cousin Jon and Myra's wedding. We almost didn't make it to the airport due to a flat tire, but were grateful that we did!

Henry Breaks His Arm

On 2/24/15 we received our first scary telephone call from school telling us that Henry was hurt, and that he had likely broken his arm. This was followed by our first trip to the emergency room. He had been repeatedly jumping from a 2 foot foam cube into a foam circle/pool, and unfortunately landed awkwardly on his right arm. He wasn't crying when I picked him up from school (until he saw me), and he was incredibly brave throughout the ER process. He also provided much comic relief for the ER staff after receiving pain medications. 

A special delivery of balloons from Oma and Opa made everything better. (Although, Henry seemed to have very little pain from his arm at all, and we basically forced ibuprofen into him for the first 24hrs following his fracture reduction). 

Henry was very excited to get a blue cast (but did not let anyone sign the cast)

And much to our horror as parents, the broken arm did not slow down Henry in the slightest, and he continued climbing on and jumping off everything.
