We have had a long 11 weeks of swim classes. Henry cried the majority of the classes, but slowly became more tolerant of the torture week after week. For the final 2 classes dad took over swimming with Henry (because mom couldn't handle it anymore!) I'm trying not to take it personally, but Henry had a blast today... not a single tear! I'm glad we listened to all of the other supportive parents and the teacher of the class that told us to "stick with it" because it was really fun to see Henry having such a great time.
Looks like Henry is ready for Lake Michigan this summer...if it ever warms up.

So glad that you guys had such a great end to the session. It does get so much easier although the weeks of crying is tough to handle :-).
ReplyDeleteWow! It looks like Henry has really helped Matt with his swimming skills! ;) Those classes are so fun....we will have to make some trips to Highland this summer.
