I am currently 38.5 weeks pregnant and starting to get a little impatient for our baby to arrive. Matt and I had our final "express" hospital birthing class this weekend (which wasn't so express, 12 hrs over 2 days). Our hospital bag is packed and the carseat base is in our car (as of this morning). The crib is set up, we have a fancy diaper bag, carseat and beautiful highchair as pictured above. Now the waiting game begins...
That highchair is awesome! Where did you get it? Baby M will be here before you know it. Since you're so on the ball, you could freeze some meals for when s/he arrives, since you definitely won't want to be dealing with cooking after the birth!
And all of the baby gear has been tested out by Colin so we know Baby M will be nice and safe. Can't wait to meet the little guy or girl. Enjoy the precious quiet time you have left.
WE've been checking in here and wondering also why the ticker is going backwards... do do due due ..... My advice go March with your knees up like the U of Mich marcing band and then shovel snow but mostly push it reather than lift it:) I did this with wet clay at 39+ weeks over 90 degrees out when the water main to our house broke (some idiot put it under the rather steep drive way ... duh..it cracked! anyway it was 1 cm into our responsibility- oh and did I mention the only reason Salim was off and returned to the house with me was it was J's 1st day of 3 year old pre-school! So a cement saw and a lot of digging later we just put in a new line. The neighbor said he could not watch me anymore but Salim told him I would knock him out with the spade if he took it away- I figured >90 >90% rel Humidity and >100% due ought to do it but no. Then some how we cleaned enough to get to a restaurant and were relisheing the AC when blammo- the power went out.. still 5 more days and a sympathetic doc later... However with Alex, all I had to do was look silly marching up and doen a hill and went in and they said I was 4 cm at my appt so guess it depends if they think all that moving is a cozy rocker water bed or not! :-) Love you Mama M in MC!!
WOOHOOOOO!!!! Almost time, Em! He/she will be here so soon! Hugs, friend!
