Henry turns 4!
Henry turned 4 years old in January!
Oma and Opa visited
And Lucas continues growing and growing (he is nearing 17 months old!) Just like his older brother, he is not yet walking on his own, but he is certainly able to get any where he wants to and into anything and everything.
We finally had a snowfall that wasn't too dry and allowed for building a snowman. Henry named him Spikey.
And Henry finally agreed to go sledding at St. Kate's. It was a lot less successful of a trip than these photos depict.

Ringing in 2014 in Michigan
We moved over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the 2nd half of our week in Michigan.
An added bonus was an unexpected visit with two of Grandma's Honeck family cousins from Ohio and their families while they were in town for a lacrosse tournament.
We spent a lot of time playing with new toys at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Henry was very excited about the new snow shovel that he received as a Christmas present from Aunt Jessica and Uncle Tony. He felt very proud to be able to help Grandma & Grandpa's neighbor Pat shovel her driveway.
We celebrated New Years Eve evening with cousins Oliver and Elliot over at Grandma and Grandpa's house and New Years day we watched the Rose Bowl on TV. Henry was very disappointed that he could not find Oma and Opa in the crowd, but we were all very excited that MSU won!

Post Christmas trip to Michigan
We made the long trip to Michigan by car for some fun, post-Christmas family time. We spent the first half the week in Ferndale with cousins Oliver, Elliot, aunt Jessica and uncle Tony while Oma and Opa made a last minute road trip to Pasadena, California to cheer on the Michigan State Spartans in their win over Stanford in the Rose Bowl. We all enjoyed time together playing with new Christmas toys and eating delicious food. We ventured out of the house to experience a tour of Detroit on the People Mover and a short riverfront walk from the Renaissance Center to give the boys their first view of Canada.
