We owe Grandma a big thank you for helping to take care of Henry this past week. He obviously loved spending time with you!

Summer fun

We are having a great summer thus far! Henry has enjoyed spending time with Grandma this week (especially playing at Choo Choo Bob's!)

Walking over to the duck pond to see ducks, cranes, cormorants and turtles,

playing in the garden,

and hanging out with friends!

Memorial Day Weekend

Oma and Opa returned from their 40th wedding anniversary trip out on the West coast and we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary this weekend.

Konnichiwa friends!

We had a great evening with one of my first Minnesota friends (and former co-worker) and her family this week. She moved away to join her husband in Japan for a couple of years, then moved back to the US, but is still unfortunately 6 hours away from us. We were thrilled to finally meet their adorable son, Gabriel. He is several months younger than Henry, but was literally running circles around Henry (literally). It was quite impressive.
